About

Trustworthy reasoning is a systems problem.

Synaptik Core exists to give intelligence systems governed memory: a substrate for preserving evidence, tracing provenance, and operating under constraint. Reasoning should be inspectable, not disposable.

Synaptik Core began from a simple premise: intelligence that cannot preserve provenance, evidence, and causal history cannot be trusted in scientific, regulated, or autonomous settings. With a background in blockchain and distributed systems, Janay developed her engineering instincts in high-reliability environments where system integrity was not optional, sharpening a broader question: how do you build systems that remember correctly, operate under bounded rules, and leave behind verifiable knowledge histories?

She is the inventor on three provisional patents underlying Synaptik Core's governed memory architecture, and has architected and implemented the system end-to-end, including cryptographic lineage tracking, deterministic replay, and contract-governed state transitions. At Synaptik Core, her work focuses on the epistemic foundations of durable reasoning: how knowledge is stored, how it is constrained, and how it compounds over time.
